Romantic Suspense
Date Published: August 28, 2012

FBI Agent Joe Roberts wants that instant chemistry like his sisters, Eva and Taylor, have with their husbands. After years of searching, he’s ready to give up on that romantic notion. Then, he meets Madeline. The problem is she’s his contact on this dangerous case.

Dr. Madeline Pierce works in nanotechnology research. When she discovers a criminal network within her medical facility, she’s partnered with Joe. Throughout the investigation into the production and distribution of illegal drugs, Joe and Madeline struggle to stay professional despite their intense attraction to each other. She wants to trust his sweet words but wonders if she’s just a fling.

Police Chief Matt Connor adores his wife, Eva, and works hard to keep his family and rural town safe. When farm animals become violent and meth labs become abundant, his calm demeanor is tested. Eva Connor, a petite spitfire, has an opinion on everything and you know it whether you want to or not. However, her confidence is shaken when she’s used as leverage against Matt’s inquiries. With this case now personal for Matt and Joe, they will do whatever’s necessary to protect the women they love. As the ensemble hunts for this new bio-weapon, the dangers intensify putting their lives at greater risk.

These intertwining relationships must transform into stronger bonds if they want to win against this horrific threat. Love should trump evil, but will their love for each other survive these tests without severe repercussions?

#1 – Do You See Writing as a Career?
No. Retired from massage therapy and acupuncture, I’ve moved on to my newest passion: Writing. It’s more than a nine-to-five job to me; it’s a calling.

#2 – What was the Hardest Part of Your Writing Process?
The hardest part is ignoring the distractions like an overflowing pile of dirty laundry in the basket and an inch of dust on the coffee table.

#3 – Did you have any One Person Who Helped You Out with Your Writing Outside of Your Family?
My dear friends, Kass and Pam, as well as my sister and husband, pushed me into submitting my stories and pursuing this dream.

#4 – What is next for your writing?
The third book in the series, Their Rigid Rules, will be out later this year. This prequel to Chemical Attraction involves Joe, Eva, and their sister, Taylor. (In college, they fight against the new changes in their lives and learn they need to trust in their love for each other.)

DESCRIBE Your Book in 1 Tweet:
FBI Agent Joe Roberts finds instant chemistry. The Problem─Madeline’s his contact on a dangerous case.

This or That?

#1 - iPd or Mp3?
My son loaded a bunch of songs onto my iPhone, so which would that be? I may not be a tech, but I still know what acupuncture point alleviates migraines. Over the years, I’ve learned that it’s okay not to know everything.

#2 – Chocolate or Vanilla?
I love chunks of chewy crunchy goodness in any flavor of ice cream.

#3 – Mashed Potatoes or French Fries?
Mashed potatoes and beef gravy are my comfort foods of choice.

#4 – Comedy or Drama?
Definitely comedy…I love smart funny banter.

#5 – Fantasy or Reality?
Hmm…My husband got me hooked on The Wheel of Time Series by Robert Jordon and The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher, but I write contemporary fiction…

#6 – Call or Text?
I have an aversion to talking on the phone. Texting allows me to check in with my busy adult children. It’s a wonderful feeling to get a text out of the blue from them about some random thing they’re doing.

#7 – Public School or Home School?
Public school

#8 – Coffee or Hot Chocolate?
Coffee…I love my Keurig. I have a supply of Sumatran Blend and Cinnabon creamer.

#9 – eBook or Paperback?
If I can read a book in print, I prefer it, but my loaded Kindle is great for long trips. It also depends on if the battery’s charged on the kindle or if I have enough light to read in print.

I’d love to meet everyone following the tour so please leave a comment along the way.
Thanks, Christina
