Alexander couldn't help but love the exotic beauty with the caramel skin that made him want to taste it.  Losing her was the hardest day of his life. After years of searching she appears as if conjured by his deepest desires. But she returns far from the same.  Can they rekindle their love or will they never find the freedom only love can bring.

#1 – Do You See Writing as a Career?
I do see it as a career. A career to me is something that you invest your time, money, and energy into to create a living for yourself, as well as, contribute to society in some way. I have definitely invested a lot of time and money into my book and I feel that it provides joy and entertainment to those who read it.  This will be true for my many more books to come.

#2 – What was the Hardest Part of Your Writing Process?
Writing is the easy part for me, everything else is hard. Naming the book, picking the cover, deciding how to market, these are the tough decisions for me.  As a person I don’t like making very big decisions. Especially decisions that are so important they have the ability to make or break your books success.  If it wasn’t for my publicist Vicki I would be lost in a world of “I have no clue”.  I think that it is very important for authors, especially new authors, to have a solid team of people to help you and also encourage you along your journey.  There is nothing wrong with admitting your lack of experience.

#3 – Did you have any One Person Who Helped You Out with Your Writing Outside of Your Family?
Yes, my editor Rosa and my publicist Vicki.  Rosa and I have had plenty of debates on past and present tense in fiction writing. She has truly helped me to become a better writer and more detail oriented during my self-reviews.  Vicki has been an Ace when it comes to getting my name out there and building my fan base.  It doesn’t matter if you have a great book if no one knows about it and she has been instrumental in making sure that people know about my book.

#4 – What is next for your writing?
I actually have a series that I am working on right now.  It is based on three friends and although they will each have their own books I plan to have them be very interconnected. In some cases I will even have a conflict that started in one book end in another. I am really excited about this serious. It has more of a romantic thriller feel to it and I am literally sitting on the edge of my seat as I write it.

#5 – Do you have an addiction to reading as well as writing? If so, what are you currently reading?
I most certainly do. Honestly, if it weren’t for my love of reading I don’t think that I would have ever found my love of writing.  I am currently reading The Nanny Diaries. It is not a romance novel but it is a great read so far.

DESCRIBE Your Book in 1 Tweet:

True love is only for those brave enough to stand against the world for it.
This or That?

#1 - iPd or Mp3?
Honestly, I still am not 100% sure what an Mp3 is, so I am going to have to go with iPod.  Although I didn’t get my first one until I was about 18. I’m a bit of a late bloomer when it comes to technology.

#2 – Chocolate or Vanilla?
I’m thinking about a Wendy’s frosty here. I love the chocolate frosty. It’s the original and it can’t be beat in my mind. Granted, I have never given vanilla a chance.

#3 – Mashed Potatoes or French Fries?
FRENCH FRIES! If I could eat nothing else in this world it would be French Fries. They knew what they were doing when they created the crispy, golden brown, deep fried stick of deliciousness.

#4 – Comedy or Drama?
Comedy all the way.  I love a good gut busting laugh.  I even like jokes that I don’t get at first because then when I finally do a few minutes later I have something to laugh at again.

#5 – Danielle Steel or Nicholas Sparks?
Just from the stand point that I have never read any of Nicholas Sparks books I am going to have to go with Danielle Steel.  But I have seen his movies and I love them.

#6 – Fantasy or Reality?
Reality has nothing compared to the little voices that live in my head. Fantasy in my opinion stands for the ability to create your perfect world. Why wouldn’t anyone want to always be in the world they thought was perfect?

#7 – Call or Text?
Calls mean more to me. They tell me that you have taken the time to fully invest in me and our conversation. When you are texting you can be doing a million other things, but with a call you have to be paying attention the entire time.

#8 – Public School or Home School?
Neither. I would go private school. I suck at math so my kid would be at a high disadvantage with me as a teacher.  But public schools don’t give as much attention to children as I think they should.  Now, don’t get me wrong I went to public school, but I think that just makes me more qualified to say I don’t want my kids going.

#9 – Coffee or Hot Chocolate?
My veins no longer have blood in them, just coffee.  I feel like a zombie until my first cup of the morning. If I’m feeling fancy I will put some hazelnut creamer or wipe cream on it, but I can’t function without it.

#10 – eBook or Paperback?
I want to eventually have a library in my house which is proof of my love of the paperback.  eBooks are great, but there is nothing like the feel of the book in your hand.  Not having to worry about battery life and finding your charger in the middle of the most intense love scene you have ever read. Paperbacks are forever in my mind.

Raised in Charlotte NC, G.S. Carr has always enjoyed indulging in her imagination. At a very young age she had a thirst for reading and the many possibilities it helped come alive in her mind’s eye.  She consumed books like they were the air she needed to survive. It seemed inevitable that her love of reading would transcend into a desire to create her own stories.  She began writing poetry and stories at the age of 10.  By the time she was thirteen she found her passion in the romance genre and has not looked back ever since.

Tour Kick Off - Meet and Greet - Fearsome by S.A. Wolfe

New Adult / Romance
Date Published: 10/1/2013

Jessica Channing’s big city life should be more exciting than sixty-hour work weeks and popcorn nights with her girlfriends, but it’s not. She has worked hard fulfilling her role as a child prodigy and graduating college years before her peers. She’s the good girl, the brilliant girl.
Unfortunately, she’s also the dateless young woman.
That all changes with one phone call. Jess’s rigid, predictable life upends when she must visit a small, obscure town to deal with a relative’s death. This isn’t just any little speck of a town, though. Long lost memories come crashing down on Jess’s world when two men, the Blackard brothers, seem to lure her in.
Dylan is cover model handsome, and pursues Jess the minute she comes to town. Then there is tall, dark and gorgeous Carson, who hides his own secrets behind his hardened reserve.
For someone who has been governed by her own obsessive behaviors and fears, Jess lets her guard down and jumps at the opportunity to have an affair with a man she actually finds attractive for a change.\
There’s just one problem. Jess discovers that she can’t have a simple romantic fling because true passion does indeed come with some very big strings attached to it. She will have to own up to her own truths about love and face the two extraordinary men; both troubled in their own ways and both determined to have her.

This novel contains graphic sexual content and strong language. It is intended for mature readers.
439 pages

#1 – Do You See Writing as a Career?
Yes, I’ve been writing since I was a teenager, and later on I had several completed unpublished novels. One manuscript was agented and shopped around for a movie option. Unfortunately, I had no success in those early days, but I learned a lot about the business, and hopefully, became a better writer in the process.

I’m always distracted by stories or characters in my head, so writing is my only outlet for this affliction.

#2 – What was the Hardest Part of Your Writing Process?
The hardest part is not letting others invade my writing time. My kids have stopped knocking on the door when I’m writing and they just barge in with all sorts of questions at anytime of day. I think this is why I sometimes write from midnight to 4AM on the weekends – just for the solitude and the ability to concentrate on my characters.

#3 – Did you have any One Person Who Helped You Out with Your Writing Outside of Your Family?
Friends who want to read what I write tend to be too polite or too excited – their feedback is nice but not necessarily constructive. I have always connected to other authors. They are very generous with support and advice. Also, my editing team provides brutal honest opinions on particular scenes that need to be changed. Other than the unwavering support of my husband, there has always been a team of people.

#4 – What is next for your writing?
I’ve already started another contemporary romance. I don’t like to talk about my works-in-progress because it’s constantly changing. I will say it will be another stand-alone novel with an HEA. Here are some key words that have inspired my current novel: surfer, Brooklyn, sharks, rockslide, Aspen, Hawaii, love and romance…..I’m not offering much here.

#5 – Do you have an addiction to reading as well as writing? If so, what are you currently reading?
Every day must include reading. I can live without TV, but I can’t live without reading.

DESCRIBE Your Book in 1 Tweet:
A sexy romance with emotionally-charged drama, a lot of steamy scenes, and an extra side of humor.

Okay, I’m still not very good at Twitter.

This or That?

#1 - iPd or Mp3?
iPod…I have a ridiculous collection of them.

#2 – Chocolate or Vanilla?
Chocolate!

#3 – Mashed Potatoes or French Fries?
Mashed potatoes and fries together with mustard and hot sauce.

#4 – Comedy or Drama?
Both. If they’re well done, I love both.

#5 – Danielle Steel or Nicholas Sparks?
I can’t believe I’m admitting this, but I’ve never read either of them.

#6 – Fantasy or Reality?
Fantasy, because I always get to fly like a super hero and everyone is beautiful and healthy……Reality, because a real kiss from my husband is better than the fantasy one. How sappy is that?

#7 – Call or Text?
I text my kids to track them like they are free-range elk or something, but I love gabbing on the phone with girlfriends. I like to hear their laughing voices, which never comes across in a text. LOL isn’t the same as actually hearing it.

#8 – Public School or Home School?
I went to public and private schools all over the country. Because of my father’s career, I attended over 20 schools. However, one of my children is autistic and I did homeschool him for two years, but not by myself. I hired a team of therapists who did the heavy lifting, and I did the fun stuff with him, trips to museums, and events.

#9 – Coffee or Hot Chocolate?
Hot Chocolate

#10 – eBook or Paperback?
Now it’s eBooks. Hundreds and hundreds. My hardcover collection has been put in storage, and my paperbacks were donated to a non-profit bookstore.

Tour Kick Off - Meet and Greet - Napoleon by Emilia I Rutigliano

 Erotic Romance

Date Published: 3/5/2013

They say that when a student is ready, a teacher appears.
What they don’t say is where to register, and how to matriculate in that teacher’s class.
That is a divine gift.
Veronica had it all: the looks, the brains, the personality and the wardrobe. Not to mention a perfect husband, a fabulous career and two adorable children, until the perfect husband leaves her for another woman.
Thus begin the daily routines of a typical New York City immigrant with ambition whose teachers keep appearing, and for whom divine interventions keep affording new opportunities. The new American Dream. Though it starts like ordinary connections going through the tried and true, each relationship continues to delve into parts of her own universe that Veronica didn’t know existed. A universe that is suddenly open to her.
It’s lovely when a brilliant virgin of meager means and a heart of gold meets a brooding billionaire whom only her love can tame… and they wed, have children and live happily ever after. But what about the other eight or so billion people on earth?
What if you are thirty-five, and not ready for a retirement community? What if marriage and hearth aren’t your cup of tea – even with the perfect man? What if there is more than one man – why do you have to choose? What if motherhood wasn’t your only self-definition? What if the kindest, brightest and wealthiest people that extended an invitation to join their world – would you take it – despite their many eccentricities? Why do you have to stop being one thing, in order to become another?
What happens when you reach the glass ceiling? How do you get to fly in the open sky?
It’s a matter of knowing that you can…
And you can…

#1 – Do You See Writing as a Career?
No.  I see Writing as a means of telling a story.  I’m a story-teller.  Always have been.  I’m privileged enough to be able to do it, and grateful that there are people who enjoy hearing the stories I tell.

#2 – What was the Hardest Part of Your Writing Process?
Actually sitting down and Writing…LOL.  The characters kept talking, and the movie and scenes kept playing in my head.  The story got written while I was sitting in the car waiting for my daughter to finish dance class, and while I waited in Court to be assigned to a Judge for Trial and at night because the characters wouldn’t stop talking!

#3 – Did you have any One Person Who Helped You Out with Your Writing Outside of Your Family?
Because everything I write is based on the REAL world around me… everyone and everything inspired me.  My husband joked that he was working on “the next book” every time he planned a trip for us.  My friends (beta readers) discussed, gossiped and argued about Veronica’s life as it was progressing.  Although the characters are fictional, they are absolutely based on real people.  Those “similarities” are entirely intended (and permission was sought and granted from each of the INCREDIBLE characters in my life.

#4 – What is next for your writing?
Well, there are FIVE books in the LAYERS series.  They all need TLC to find their way to those whom Veronica inspires.  So the chiseling, editing and fine-tuning the LAYERS series is on the agenda.
There is another series that is trying, desperately, to get out of my head.  The ORDER of ALEXANDRA.  It’s a trilogy about a forty-year-old heroine who is enjoying ALL of the wonders and complexities of life, family, children, sex and money.  I’m not a fan of windfalls and lottery wins.  Instead, I ADORE entrepreneurial behavior.  Women, in general, hesitate to educate themselves and partake in entrepreneurial behavior.  Those that do are an exception, rather than the norm.  I’d love to inspire the exception…

#5 – Do you have an addiction to reading as well as writing? If so, what are you currently reading?
I do have an addiction to reading.  LOL.  I am an admitted bibliophile, too.  But it is always about the story with me.  The deeper, the better.  I am following the Blogs’ recommendations in the Women’s Contemporary section.  I also like the Business, Marketing and Inspirational sections.  In fact, I prefer them all being blended into one.  I LIKE my heroes/ heroines to be able to bake a soufflé, treat the kids for the lice infestation, deep-throat and swallow, change a tire, manage her own portfolio and invests in Designer shoes for comfort.  There I said it!

DESCRIBE Your Book in 1 Tweet:
Basic Fairytale of a Divorcee who Sees the Signs, Takes the Opportunities and Enjoys Sex with A LOT of different Princes – all of whom are Very Charming.

This or That?

#1 - iPd or Mp3?
I’m an Apple Girl.  iPhone with personalized ringtones, and many distinct playlists.

#2 – Chocolate or Vanilla?
Why Choose?  My favorite flavor is called Cherry Mania.  I discovered it in Slovenia:  It’s Vanilla Ice cream with black Cherries and pieces of Dark Chocolate Wafers.  Yeah…. Ahm, what was the question again?

#3 – Mashed Potatoes or French Fries?
Crispy French fries… with truffles and pecorino Cheese.

#4 – Comedy or Drama?
Comedy.  DEFINITELY.  Just not the slap-stick kind.  If you don’t see the humor and irony in every situation, you’re missing the Drama.  It’s all comedy to me!

#5 – Danielle Steel or Nicholas Sparks?
Danielle Steel.  I’ll give you that Sparks is a “better” writer… but Steel’s stories are incredible.  She has the absolute ability to create the world and the characters.

#6 – Fantasy or Reality?
Reality.  I find Life has every element of every world ever created… with just as many fantastic characters, places and situation as any made up world.  I’m blessed to be able to see situations (everyday) that make Soap Operas and Talk Show “titles” seem like child’s play.

#7 – Call or Text?
Text, actually.  Calls are too restrictive.  You need to contemplate purpose of the call, state it succinctly, receive a response and then conclude the call.  Texting… on the other hand… is not time restrictive.  Most people actually think before forming a question or responding.  I love it.

#8 – Public School or Home School?
Where do I begin.  I’m not a fan of Public Schooling… for several reasons.  I hate that the curricula is chosen for a mass populace.  Therefore it is incapable of actually teaching.  It’s also based on an outdated system that is no longer in place.  Home Schooling is appropriate in some situations… but not in a majority.   Group education has a social component that is necessary.  Humans need to relate to other humans.  But either way, they shouldn’t be mutually exclusive.  Home Schooling should continue after Public Schooling is done for the Day.

#9 – Coffee or Hot Chocolate
Coffee.  Real, un-fortified, Organic, Black, properly pressed, aromatic coffee.  The kind that you could smell from a room a way, that you can taste with each sip (not gulp), that wakes you up after half a cup and that you could remember for an hour or two after you’re done.  (Therefore, this precludes the stuff that we pour into Venti or Trenti cups with fake cream and fake sugar.)  Apparently I feel strongly about this… LOL.

#10 – eBook or Paperback?
(Wow, this is tough.  You’re talking to a girl who saved for two years to purchase Dr. Johnson’s Dictionary – Original).  eBooks.  It’s a matter of time and the world we live in.  eBooks are just more convenient.  They are more accessible and they are pleasurable.  You can refer to them, copy and paste, if need be, to quote.  There is nothing offered by a paperback, that an eBook doesn’t deliver.  I would get a “book” for sentimental purposes, or to keep on a nightstand for inspiration or decor.  I have several “Coffee Table” type books on my nightstand.  But for actually “reading” – eBook.  For sure.

Emilia I. Rutigliano scored fiftieth percentile on her SATs... and on her LSATs... and on her BAR...Sigh...
But she nevertheless survived, and seems to be doing OK. She practices Law read lore) in Brooklyn, New York (read Nu Yawk). She was born in the former Soviet Union, and emigrated in 1979. She is happily married to the same crazy Italian she's been with since college, who suffers from a severe addition to travel (still in acute form). Together they are doing a somewhat passable job with their three precious darlings (who are now teenagers, thus elaboration is not necessary).
Which is why Emilia writes about Veronica. Veronica, though... is interesting. And Emilia knows interesting.
