Tour Kick Off - It Is Time and Other Stories by @anna_bayes

Contemporary Erotic Romance
Date Published: February 28, 2014

This collection of 15 romantic bite-size stories is a must-have for Anna’s loyal fans and serves as the perfect sampler for new readers. Find out why fans from everywhere are addicted to Anna’s writing.
The collection begins with the tale of a woman who has decided that “It is time” to give her lover a final gift.
From the sweet, vanilla exchanges of love (such as “Love Letter,” “Gratitude” and “Ticket to France”), the electrifying thrill of instant attraction (“Stockings, Pendant, Arousal” and “Unexpected”), paranormal love story (“Lucy Reborn”) to steamy tales that stretch the mind and boundaries (for example, “My Reluctant Dom” and “Four Hot Guys”), these 15 stories promise to tease and gratify.

Note: Explicit sex scenes. Adult material intended for readers aged 18+.

#1 – Do You See Writing as a Career?
Yes I do. Even if it does not pay all the bills yet (as in, be my only source of income, yet), it is something I am passionate about and intend to do for life.

#2 – What was the Hardest Part of Your Writing Process?
My inspiration comes in snippets: an isolated scene, a few lines in an ongoing dialogue, so occasionally it takes a long time for me to put the puzzle pieces back together as a whole story, to understand the logic behind the main characters’ way of thinking and how the tale begins and ends.

#3 – Did you have any One Person Who Helped You Out with Your Writing Outside of Your Family?
Yes. It was a male lover I had at the time. He sensed something unique in my lunatic thoughts and style of writing. He pushed me to put my ideas onto paper. I was skeptical at first, doubting my abilities, but he persistently encouraged me until I began believing in the possibility. After writing my first story, there was no turning back.

#4 – What is next for your writing?
I have been writing short stories exclusively so far, all erotic romances for the fiercely loyal. I like my protagonists so I will continue writing stories of sexually adventurous but emotionally faithful people; but I am also trying my hand at writing slightly longer tales, perhaps my first novella by summer (fingers crossed).

#5 – Do you have an addiction to reading as well as writing? If so, what are you currently reading?
Yes I do! I immerse myself a little too much in erotic fantasies so I have been re-reading genres and forms that are completely different just to balance my brain. Poetry collections by Sylvia Plath: The Colossus and Other Poems to be exact, last night.

DESCRIBE Your Book in 1 Tweet:
“He gradually built a cage around my heart.” – 15 tales of love and lust.

This or That?

#1 - iPod or Mp3? Total Apple addict: iPod.

#2 – Chocolate or Vanilla? Chocolate!

#3 – Mashed Potatoes or French Fries? I love both, but since I have a sore throat at the moment, I’ll go for mashed potatoes today.

#4 – Comedy or Drama? Comedy. I tend to be too serious in real life; laughing helps remind me to lighten up.

#5 – Danielle Steel or Nicholas Sparks? Both, depending on the hour of the day. But my mind-set for this moment is more Danielle Steel.

#6 – Fantasy or Reality? Can’t I please have both?

#7 – Call or Text? Text please.

#8 – Public School or Home School? I am introverted, public school might be better for me: meeting and mingling (hopefully) with other humans.

#9 – Coffee or Hot Chocolate? Coffee all the way.

#10 – eBook or Paperback? eBook or I’ll need to move into a castle to store all the paperbacks.

Anna writes contemporary, paranormal, BDSM and LGBT erotic romances. She is herself a bisexual submissive, and finds writing the perfect outlet for her wild ideas.

In real life, Anna is an introverted bookworm, looks sweet and kind of innocent, but don’t let her brown eyes fool you.
