Happy Holidays…
Around the world, Christmas Eve is a time of joy, hope and new beginnings, where children open presents, parents smile, and all is right with the world.
Except in Matryville.
Holidays are dreaded, rather than anticipated. A killer is on the loose, and he strikes as parents hide their kids, fearing the bogeyman’s wrath…
Liz Rhodes, Special Detective at the Matryville Central Police Department, is heading the investigation of the Holiday Killer. She’s close on his tail, a suspect in her grasp…
… and then her son is taken.
Will Liz be able to track down the Killer before it’s too late? Or will Jamie pay the price for her arrogance? Only time will tell...
#1 – Do You See Writing as a Career?
Absolutely not. My career is Butchery. Writing is what I do
around it, when I'm not editing other peoples' books to raise funds for my
comic series. I see more of a career in cosplay than I do writing!
#2 – What was the Hardest Part of Your Writing Process?
Sitting down to do it. Oh, I have the time, I know I do. I
just can't motivate myself past that tenth page of words.
#3 – Did you have any One Person Who Helped You Out with
Your Writing Outside of Your Family?
For the Holiday Killer, that would be my editor, Carrie
White. She DEFINITELY made my book so much better than its original draft!
#4 – What is next for your writing?
Next up is a vampire novel (I know, a bit out of time, but
my books are NEVER what the pop are doing), where the MC is tortured by a
vampire known as The Scientist and finally escapes. The book is her journey as
she evades, and eventually turns on, the vampires hunting her down.
#5 – Do you have an addiction to reading as well as writing?
If so, what are you currently reading?
Jeez, my TBR pile is so huge, it's ridiculous! I have
all-indie books from Cons that I pick up every time I go to one. I finished an
advanced copy of Joey Hirsch's next book yesterday, Veteran's Affairs. VERY
good book!

Butcher by day, author by night, Holly spends her days off writing, playing in her garden and watching superhero cartoons. Holly lives with her husband Matthew and her cat Talia al-Kitty in a two-bedroom flat crammed with comics, video games, books and movie memorabilia. An active cosplayer, Holly and Matthew take time out of their days to entertain kids as various DC comics characters, and make their own costumes (when Real Life allows).
