Reading Addiction Blog Tours MEET and GREET

#1 – Do You See Writing as a Career?
Writing for me is a calling. It’s something I must do…as essential as breathing or eating. It calls to me in dreams and wakes me with the urge to scribble notes on scraps of paper.

#2 – What was the Hardest Part of Your Writing Process?
Getting any rest. When I’m actively involved in the process the characters flood my mind with their needs. Sleeping is sometimes difficult.

#3 – Did you have any One Person Who Helped You Out with Your Writing
Outside of Your Family?
My good friend Bettina Rowe has been a strong influence, always reading. She is a rare individual who accepts me for who I am.

#4 – What is next for your writing?
I have written three more books in this fantasy series and two mysteries. The major question is when I will decide to share them. I’m always learning. I think that I improve with every inspiration. I am currently writing a romance and another fantasy.

#5 – Do you have an addiction to reading as well as writing? If so, what are you
currently reading?
Oh my! I was addicted to reading long before I picked up a pen. I just finished “Cinnamon Twigs” by Darren Freebury- Jones and will be beginning a book called the Fall of Onagros, Sage book 1 by Marian Allen

Author Bio:
I don't normally answer questions about my personal history....I'm painfully shy.   Who is Patrick O’Scheen? I ask myself this often. A sailor, a chef, a writer…even I’m uncertain. Patrick O'scheen is a bit of a mystery, even to me. I know that writing is more than an enterprise for me. I’s a calling. Books and stories touch lives like nothing else. I think there is more of me buried in my writing than you will find anywhere else. So who is Patrick O’Scheen…read and find out.

I'm very fond of cats and spaghetti ...not necessarily together.

If I were to rewrite Dreamer, I see all sorts of things that I would do differently. I find all of the errors that escaped the edits. However, it is still a wonderful tale close to my heart. I hope you enjoy.
