Contemporary Romance
Date PublishedMay 7, 2015

After her best friend and her husband are killed in a private airplane crash, Keri finds some of her friend’s personal effects, one of which is a diary. When Keri reads it, she discovers her friend had been secretly in love with another man, a soldier. Keri knew nothing about the relationship, even though she and her friend were as close as sisters.

Determined to find the secret lover, Keri sets off on a journey and discovers the key to her destiny.

#1 – Do You See Writing as a Career?
Yes, writing is definitely a career – a full time job and a way of living.

#2 – What was the Hardest Part of Your Writing Process?
To put those wild images, characters and emotions that dance about in my head onto that big white blank page, and coax them into forming a coherent story.

#3 – Did you have any One Person Who Helped You Out with Your Writing Outside of Your Family?
Yes, dear Sister Mary Katherine.  She was patient, kind and a wonderful writer.  I often recall her words  “Let your writing breathe and dance.  Have compassion for your characters – even the lost ones.”

#4 – What is next for your writing?
I am currently working on a Christmas novel.  I always loved reading Christmas stories when I was a girl.  Now I enjoy writing them as well.

#5 – Do you have an addiction to reading as well as writing? If so, what are you currently reading?
All the writers I know, love to read.  It goes with the territory.  I read a variety of books, fiction and non-fiction.  I just finished P.D. James’ Cover Her Face and All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr.  I just started Good Harbor by Anita Diamant.
